The new Carestream Molecular Imaging Software version 5.0.2 upgrade for KODAK 1D Image Analysis software users is now available.
In addition the new Maintenance Release, version 5.0.2 is now available for KODAK Molecular Imaging Software, version 4.X and 5.0 users.
New Digital Camera Support:
- New camera support for the new Gel Logic 212 PRO. The Gel Logic 212 PRO features a scientific grade 1.4 million pixel CCD camera with an integrated motorized/automated lens, filter wheel, and imaging cabinet. The system delivers outstanding image quality and real time imaging speed specially designed for documenting electrophoresis gels, colorimetric blots, and plates. (v5.0.2)
- New camera support for In-Vivo Multispectral Imaging System. This new system combines advanced unmixing of multiple fluorochromes with high resolution digital x-ray. The sophisticated software algorithms remove autofluorescence for improved signal-to-noise and detection sensitivity. Multimodal capabilities include white light, multiwavelength fluorescence, UV fluorescence, luminescence and X-ray imaging(v5.0.1)
- New camera control support for Carestream Molecular Imaging's Gel Logic 112 Imaging System. The Gel Logic 112 System's mega-pixel CCD digital camera, EEE1394 (FIREWIRE) interface, and portable darkroom provides outstanding image quality with real time imaging speed. (v5.0.1)
New Graphics Interface:
Carestream Molecular Imaging Software, formerly KODAK Molecular Imaging Software, has adopted a new brand, look and feel. (v5.0.2)
Workflow Improvements:
Region of Interest (ROI) Analysis Improvements:
- A Separate and Rotate ROI tool was added to the Manual ROIs Panel
- A Rotate ROI tool was added to the Auto ROIs Panel
- New export ROI’s option to Microsoft Excel.
- New option applies an ROI template across all open images or documents within a folder (v5.0.1)
Enhanced Calibration:
- Improved calculation for photometric conversion to p W/mm2
- Excitation spectrum normalization (spectral flattening)
- New correction option for emission filter transmission efficiency
- New correction for illumination variation (v5.0.1)
New Export Options:
- Several new export options including 16-bit DICOM, 16 and 32-Bit Integer Raw, 32-bit floating point raw and XML Metadata file are now available (v5.0.2)
